Abstract

Ulva Ros Setyawati, 2020, Role of Net Interest Margin (NIM), Operational Income Operating Expenses (BOPO), Third Party Funds (DPK), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Non Performing Loans (NPLs) on the Profitability of Foreign Exchange Banks listed on the Exchange Exchange Indonesian Securities 2015-2019 period This study aims to analyze the effect of Net Interest Margin (NIM), Operational Income Operational Expenses (BOPO), Third Party Funds (DPK), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and Non Performing Loans (NPLs) on the profitability of the Bank on Foreign Exchange (Return On Assets) listed on the Stock Exchange Indonesia for the 2015-2019 period. This research uses quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The object of research is the Foreign Exchange Bank which is listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2015-2019. The population used in this study was 22 foreign exchange banks. The research sample of 8 foreign exchange banks. The sampling technique in this study was carried out using purposive sampling. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regressionanalysis. The results and conclusion of this study indicate that partially Net Interest Margin (NIM) and Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) have a positive and significant effect on the profitability of foreign exchange banks (ROA), Operating Expenses (BOPO) and Third Party Funds (DPK) have a negative and significant effect on the profitability of foreign exchange banks (ROA), Non Performing Loans (NPL) have a negative and not significant effect on the profitability of foreign exchange banks (ROA). While simultaneous Net Interest Margin (NIM), Operational Income Operating Expenses (BOPO), Third Party Funds (DPK), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and Non Performing Loans (NPL) have a significant effect on bank profitability(ROA).
