Abstract

Kiki Rahmawati, 2020, Analysis Of The Effect Of Firm Size, Asset Growth, Cash Position, DER, ROE, EPS, Quick Ratio, Net Profit Margin, and Past Dividend on Dividend Payout Ratio. In this era of globalization more and more companies are emerging, this can trigger competition. In line with this, the high lifestyle and the needs of the community in meeting the needs for consumer goods today, the company is very likely to remain sustainable. This study aims to analyze the effect of firm size, asset growth, cash position, DER, ROE, EPS, quick ratio, net profit margin, and past dividend on dividend payout ratios on companies in the consumer good industry sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015-2019. The sampling method is done by purposive sampling technique. Penalty sample consists of 15 companies from 51 companies in the consumer goods industry sector, with observations of 75 observational data. The data studied was obtained from IDX and the company’s website. The data analysis technique used is multiple linier regression analysis. Hypothesis testing uses t-statistics and f-statistics with a significance level of 5%. The results showed that firm size, cash position, ROE, and past dividend variables had a positive and significant effect on the dividend payout ratio, while the DER variable had a negative and significant effect on the dividend payout ratio. while the variable asset growth, EPS, quick ratio, and net profit margin have no effect on dividend payout ratio.
