Abstract

The Effect of Government Share Ownership, Profitability, Corporate Governance, Company Size, and Leverage on Corporate social responsibility Disclosure in Banking Companies in Indonesia Period 2011-2018. The purpose of this study is 1). To find out whether government share ownership affects the disclosure of corporate social responsibility, 2). To find out whether profitability affects the disclosure of corporate social responsibility. 3). To find out whether corporate governance affects the disclosure of corporate social responsibility. 4). To find out whether company size affects the disclosure of corporate social responsibility. 5). To find out whether leverage affects the disclosure of corporate social responsibility. 6). To find out whether government share ownership, profitability, corporate governance, company size, and leverage simultaneously affect the disclosure of Corporate Social Responsibility. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. While the method of data analysis and hypothesis testing used are the classic assumption test, simple linear regression analysis, significance test for simple linear regression coefficient (Partial Test), Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, and Test of Significance of Multiple Linear Regression Coefficients (Simultaneous Test. The conclusions of this study are 1) there is a negative and significant influence of government share ownership on the disclosure of corporate social responsibility in banking companies in the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2011-2018 Period. This is evidenced by obtaining a significance value of 0,000 <0.05. 2) there is a negative and significant effect on profitability on the disclosure of corporate social responsibility in banking companies that are on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2011-2018. This is evidenced by obtaining a significance value of 0,000 <0.05. 3.) there is a positive and insignificant influence of corporate governance on the disclosure of corporate social responsibility in banking companies that are on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2011-2018 period. This is evidenced by obtaining a significance value of 0.815> 0.05. 4) there is a positive and insignificant influence of company size on the disclosure of corporate social responsibility on banking companies that are on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2011-2018 Period. This is evidenced by obtaining a significance value of 0.936> 0.05. 5) there is a negative and significant influence of company size on the disclosure of corporate social responsibility on banking companies that are on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2011-2018. This is evidenced by obtaining a significance value of 0.002 <0.05. 6) There is a significant influence of government share ownership, profitability, corporate governance, company size and leverage together on the disclosure of corporate social responsibility in banking companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange Period 2011-2018.
