Abstract

Fahmi Almubarok, 2020, "Analysis Of Cooling Load Of The Air Conditioning System (Stu) In The Laboratory Room Of The Faculty Of Engineering, Pancasakti Tegal University With Arduino Based Lm35 Sensor", Thesis Report of Mechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Pancasakti University, Tegal 2020. One of the main activities at university is studying. Learning is a mental job that requires cognitive abilities to do it. In the learning process, optimal conditions are needed, both from individuals and the environment so that learning activities can run well. If the learning environment is not supportive, the process of delivering information and the performance of students will be reduced or not achieved optimally. In this research is to innovate to measure the thermal demand in a room with the addition of automatic sensors to get thermal comfort. This research was conducted in the laboratory room of the Faculty of Engineering, Pancasakti University, Tegal by measuring the building area, heat load and installing 1 AC unit 2 PK and Arduino based LM35 sensor. The test results show the load required in the laboratory room, namely by installing the 2PK AC unit. The performance of the AC that has been installed by the sensor or before the sensor is installed tends to be stable, does not experience a decrease in performance with qe 175, qc 210, and COP 5. As for electricity consumption, there is a savings of 0.1% - 0.2%. Keywords: Air Conditioning, Arduino, Efficiency, LM35.
