Abstract

Key words: Students’ Perception, Digital Classroom Learning, Covid-19 Pandemic Digital Classroom is learning through internet-based-learning, used in Indonesia because of the outbreak of Covid-19 pandemic. This research explained students’ perception toward English language learning in Digital Classroom during covid-19 pandemic (A Descriptive Qualitative Study in Vocational High School 1 Adiwerna–STM ADB Tegal in academic year 2021/2022). This research used a descriptive-qualitative research method. The researcher chose the 12th grade of Teknik Audio Video as a sample consisted of 28 students. In collecting the data, the researcher used questionnaires and interviews, thus validity and reliability checked by Correlation Product Moment in SPSS 24.There are questionnaires and only 25 valid questions since significan (2-tailed)] <significant level (α) 0.05. It is reliable because has cronbach alpha > 0.6 and interviews’ questions that approved by advisor. From the data analysis, the researcher found conclusion of students’ perception towards English language learning in digital classroom during Covid-19 pandemic as follows: the researcher found that 2% score for strongly disagree, student answered 38% score for disagree, neutral score 25%, agree score 28% agree, and 7% score strongly agree. It means that student difficult adapt the digital classroom learning system to temporarily replace conventional learning during Covid-19 pandemic. Furthermore, the students found the difficulties when understanding the materials they have several trouble such as; 1) students have limited internet quota, 2) students have bad internet connection, 3) students unfocus, 4) and also students should be harder to understand the materials.
