Abstract
MAYASARI, TITI. 2020. the influence of the Implementation of the waste bank Program on the level of participants who participate in waste banks and do not participate in waste bank. Essay. Natural Sciences Education (IPA). Faculty of Teacher Training and Education. Pancasakti University, Tegal. Supervisor I Dr. Purwo Susongko, M.Pd., Supervisor II Bayu Widiyanto, M.Sc., Keywords: Implementation of the waste bank program, Waste Literacy. The objectives of this study are (1) To find out the level of waste literacy among people who take part in the waste bank program and not follow the waste bank program, (2) know the difference in the level of waste literacy in people who take part in the waste bank program and not follow the waste bank program and (3) know the response or the community response to the waste bank program. This research is an ex-post facto or causal comparative study. The population of this research is the Pesantunan Village community. The sampling technique uses cluster sampling. The sample of this study consisted of 2 groups: people who joined the waste bank and those who did not join the waste bank. The instruments used were Questionnaire and Validation Sheet. This validation sheet contains the content and construction validation sheet. Data were analyzed by descriptive test and Independent t-test sample T-Test. The results showed that (1) with the existence of a waste bank program the level of waste literacy is higher than the people who do not participate in the activities of the waste bank it can be seen from the achievement of the waste literacy level of 70.7% and 66.5% in addition it can also be seen from an average score of 35.25 in the community that participated in the waste bank and 33.25 in the community who did not participate in the waste bank. (2) the results of the Independent sample T Test with the existence of a waste bank program there is a difference in the level of waste literacy between those participating in the waste bank and those not participating in the waste bank. (3) the results of the community response / response by the existence of the garbage bank program responded positively, namely the community who wanted to be involved and support more.
