Abstract
ABSTRACK SETIYOWATI, RENNI INDAH.2020. The Effect of Work Motivation and Work Environment on Employee Performance of PT Casuarina Harnessindo Pemalang Regency. Economic Education. This study aims to determine the existence of (1) the influence of work motivation on the performance of employees of PT Casuarina Harnessindo Pemalang Regency, (2) the influence of the work environment on the performance of employees of PT Casuarina Harnessindo Pemalang Regency, and (3) the influence of work motivation and work environment on the performance of PT employees. Casuarina Harnessindo Pemalang Regency. This study uses a quantitative approach. This type of research is associative correlation. The population in this study were employees of PT Casuarina Harnessindo in the Quality section. Methods of data collection using observation and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis, simple linear regression analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis. The result (1) work motivation has a significant influence on the performance of employees of PT Casuarina Harnessino Pemalang Regency, (2) the work environment has a significant influence on the informance of employees of PT Casuarina Harnessino Pemalang Regency, and (3) work motivation and the work environment together has a significant influence on the performance of employees of PT Casuarina Harnessino Pemalang Regency. Based on the results of this study, the advice given is that the company maintains a more conducive work environment by maintaining a physical work environment and a non-physical work environment that is related to facilities and infrastructure, work safety, equipment and relationships between people, so as to improve employee performance. Work motivation and work environment together have a significant effect on the performance of employees of PT Casuarina Harnessindo Pemalang Regency. This can be seen from the performance indicators, including: (1) quality of work; (2) efficiency in tasks; (3) work discipline; (4) initiative; (5) attendance; (6) honesty.
