Keywords: Interference, novel, implication. Interference may occur due to bilingual contact. This study aims to describe the form of Arabic Interference in Indonesian in the novel Ayat-ayatCinta by Habiburrahman El-Shirazy and its implications for learning Indonesian in high school. The approach used in this research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method. The object of his research is Arabic interference in Indonesian. Where the source of this research is the novel Ayat-ayat Cinta by Habiburrahman El Shirazy. The technique of providing data uses observation techniques with advanced techniques using note-taking techniques. In this study, the intralingual matching method was used to analyze the data. To present the results of the analysis using an informal method. The results of this study found three kinds of interference, namely phonological interference and lexical interference. From the results of the research conducted, the form of phonological interference is the addition of phonemes such as phonemes / h /, / d /, / n /, / b /, as well as changes in phonemes where phoneme / k / is replaced by phoneme / q /, phoneme / z / is replaced by phoneme / dh / and the data found were 21 with a percentage of 52.5%. While in the lexical form there are Arabic forms that enter Indonesian such as kumsari, mugrim, syafakallah and the data found are 19 data with a percentage of 47.5%. From the results of this study can be implicated in the learning of Indonesian Language class IX on the basic competencies 3.1 and 4.1 namely the report on the results of observations. It is hoped that the results of this study can help students add new vocabulary.
