Keywords: OTKP, Speaking, Ability The purposes of this research are (1) to figure out the students' ability in speaking English. (2) To figure out what aspect of speaking get the highest and lowest scores in students' speaking ability. This research used a descriptive study and data collection using a speaking test. The subject of this research was students in third grade of SMK Negeri 2 Kota Tegal. The research was distributed in two OTKP classes with 18-20 students in each class. The total sample in this study is 39 students in the OTKP class. The researcher used five aspects of speaking to determine the assessment criteria. The five aspects are pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, fluency, and comprehension. The result of the speaking test can be concluded that the speaking ability of OTKP class students for the 2021/2022 academic year is at average to good level. This is evidenced by 13 students (33 %) got a good level. In addition, as many as 22 students (57%) got average to good level. 4 students have poor to average level (10%). Thus, it can be concluded that the students' speaking ability level is average to good. From the fifth aspect of speaking, it can be concluded that the Grammar was the aspect that got the lowest score 420. Fluency was aspect that got low score after Grammar 592. Besides that, it can be seen that the highest score is the comprehension aspect 634. For Vocabulary aspect got 600 score and Vocabulary aspect got 604 score.
