Abstract

Dike Megaza, 2023, The Effect of Education Level, Competence, and Work Ethic on Employee Performance of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Pemalang Post Office. One very important factor in determining the success of an organization or company is paying attention to human resource management. Human resource management is part of management science that focuses on the human element. The success or failure of an organization will be determined by the human factor or its employees in achieving goals. The data analysis used is instrument test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression analysis, partial test (t), simultaneous test (f), coefficient of determination (R^2). The population in this study were all employees at PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) Pemalang Post Office, totaling 53 employees. This study uses a saturated sampling technique where the entire population is sampled. With data collection methods using a questionnaire. From the research conducted, the results obtained that: partially (1) the level of education obtained a t_hitung value of 3.314> t_table 2.009 and Sig. 0.002 <0.05, meaning that the level of education affects employee performance (2) competence obtained t_hitung-1.696 < t_table 2.009 and Sig. 0.096> 0.05 means that competence has no effect on employee performance (3) work ethic obtained t_count value 4.138> t_table 2.009 and Sig. 0.000 <0.05 means that work ethic affects employee performance. (4) Simultaneously obtained the value of F_hitung10,172> F_table 2,79 and Sig. 0.000 <0.05 means that the level of education, competence, and work ethic simultaneously affect employee performance. The conclusion of this study is that partially the level of education affects employee performance, competence has no effect on employee performance, and work ethic affects employee performance. While simultaneously, the level of education, competence and work ethic affect employee performance. Keywords: Level of education, competence, work ethic, performance
