Abstract

Moh. Adi Fikri (NPM : 3119500005) Analysis of the Relationship between Length, Weight and Condition of Deles Flying Fish (Decapterus Macrosoma) Caught on Small Pelagic Purse seine Boats in the Banda Sea, Southeast Sulawesi Province. (Supervisors: Sri Mulyani and Kusnandar). Layang deles fish (Decapterus macrosoma) is one of the fish caught by purse seine fishing gear in the Banda Sea, Southeast Sulawesi Province. This study aims to determine the long-weight relationship and determine the condition factors for the flying catfish found in the Banda Sea, Southeast Sulawesi Province. Fish sampling was carried out nine times in a period of three months from November 2022 to January 2023 on nine different vessels using a measuring board with an accuracy of 0.5cm and a scale with an accuracy of 1 g. The number of fish samples used was 1.318, consisting of 1,061 male flyfish and 257 females. The fork length of male flyfish ranges from 120-329 mm and that of females ranges from 120-297 mm. The relationship between the weight length of the male deles flying catfish is , and the female flying fish is , and . Condition factors for male and female fish were 0.084-1.04 and 0.86-1.05. Shows that the growth pattern of fish is negative allometric (b<3). Which means that the growth in length is faster than in weight. Key words: Deles Layang Fish, Purse seine, Banda Sea
