Abstract

Product packaging design is an important aspect in business, especially in the manufacturing and distribution fields. Simply put, packaging design is the process of creating and developing a container or wrapper for a product. Apart from being useful as a product protector, product packaging also functions as a medium for sending information to customer. The method in this research uses the QFD (Quality Functional Deployment) method, this method is used to design a product or service based on consumer needs and helps set appropriate product or service standards. The results obtained from this research are based on consumer expectations and based on normal weight values with the main priority being packaging materials that are good for health, attractive packaging colors and designs, packaging providing compositional information, packaging providing a P-IRT permit label from the Ministry of Health and labels. halal from the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia.
