Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan ketrampilan menulis puisi yang mendapat perlakuan model pembelajaran CIRC dan tanpa model pembelajaran CIRC, dan keefektifan model pembelajaran CIRC dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas VIII SMP Al-Ikhlas Jatinegara Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Pendekatan penelitian ini yakni pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Populasi penelitian ini yakni siswa kelas VIII SMP Al Ikhlas Jatinegara. Teknik sampling yang digunakan yakni teknik non probability sampling dengan jenis sampling sensus. Teknik pengumpulannya menggunakan tes dengan instrumen penelitian berupa soal pretest dan postest, dan kriteria penilaian kemampuan menulis puisi. Penelitian ini menggunakan uji-t aplikasi SPSS 16.0 dan perhitungan rumus manual sebagai teknik analisis data. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu model pembelajaran CIRC efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran keterampilan menulis puisi siswa kelas VIII SMP Al Ikhlas Jatinegara Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020. Keefektifan model pembelajaran CIRC dapat ditunjukkan dari hasil analisis data dengan aplikasi SPSS 16.0 yaitu nilai signifikansi 2 tailed 0,000 kurang dari taraf signifikan 0,05. Selain itu pada perhitungan rumus manual menunjukkan bahwa thitung = 10,30 sedangkan t tabel = 1,67 dengan taraf signifikansi 0,05 dan derajat kebebasan 48. Dengan demikian hipotesis nol (Ho) ditolak dan hipotesis alternative (Ha) diterima. The purpose of this study is to describe the poetry writing skills treated by the CIRC learning model and without the CIRC learning model, and the effectiveness of the CIRC learning model in learning poetry writing skills for students of class VIII of Al-Ikhlas Junior High School in 2019/2020. This research approach is a quantitative approach to the type of experimental research. The population of this research is VIII grade students of Al Ikhlas Jatinegara Middle School. The sampling technique used is the non probability sampling technique with the type of census sampling. The collection technique uses a test with a research instrument in the form of a pretest and posttest, and the criteria for evaluating the ability to write poetry. This study uses the SPSS 16.0 t-test application and manual formula calculation as a data analysis technique. The results of this study are effective CIRC learning models used in learning poetry writing skills of students of class VIII of Al Ikhlas Jatinegara Middle School in 2019/2020. The effectiveness of the CIRC learning model can be shown from the results of data analysis with the application of SPSS 16.0 ie the significance value of 2 tailed 0,000 is less than the significant level of 0.05. Also in the calculation of the manual formula shows that t = 10.30 while t table = 1.67 with a significance level of 0.05 and degrees of freedom 48. Thus the null hypothesis (Ho) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted.
