Abstract

Abstract - The Internet of Things (IoT) is a technology that is increasingly popular and is an effective solution in improving the quality of human life. In this project, we created a Smart Light system that can be controlled using voice commands from Google Assistant and the Blynk application. This system uses the ESP8266 device as a controller to control the lights. Users can control the lights by giving voice commands to Google Assistant or via the Blynk application connected to an IoT device. In addition, this system is also equipped with automation features that can be set via the Blynk application, such as setting the time of encender and apagado from the lamp. This feature is very helpful for saving energy and increasing efficiency. In addition, this system can also send notifications to users if the lights are on or off. With this system, we hope to increase comfort and efficiency in controlling lights at home. This project can also be adapted for use in an office or industrial environment. The results of this study are that the system will function if there is input in the form of voice through Google Assistance, the speed of the reaction of the lights to voice commands is determined by the speed of the internet being used. The better the internet used, the faster the reaction of the lights, but conversely if the internet is slow, the reaction of the lights to voice commands takes too long .
