Abstract
Bakhtiar Indra Sadewa, 2023 “BLACKSMITH DESIGN AND DESIGN USING SOLIDWORKS SOFTWARE WITH VARIATIONS IN ROTATION SPEED ON ENGINE EFFECTIVENESS” Thesis Report of the Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, Pancasakti University, Tegal. Blacksmith or Blacksmith is a tool for forging or flattening iron, in ancient times using manual hand punches. From there came the idea to create a semi-manual iron forging machine to simplify and speed up the iron forging process. This design research uses solidwork software and performs motion simulations. After carrying out the design, the next step is to design the tool, then connect one part to another. After connecting, then test the rotation simulation with rotation of 800 rpm, 900 rpm and 1,000 rpm. In the 800 rpm spin he gets 12 hits on the Hammer Blacksmith, in the 900 rpm spin he gets 14 hits on the Hammer Blacksmith, in the 1000 rpm spin he gets 15 hits on the Hammer. From three experiments with different rounds, we get a slightly bent Hammer arm. Keywords: Design and Design
