Abstract

This thesis is entitled "(The Effect of Superplasticizer Mixture and Stone Waste as a Partial Substitute for Coarse Aggregate on the Compressive Strength of K-175 Concrete)" This thesis was written by ADE SETIAWAN, NPM 6516500002.2023 Civil Engineering Study Program, Pancasakti University of Tegal, Concrete is a well-known structural element of a building and widely used to date. Concrete is also one of the choices of structural materials used as a construction material in the field of structures such as buildings, bridges, roads, and so on. In general, if you want to get concrete with high quality and durability, there are several factors that must be considered, including cement water (fas), aggregate (both coarse and fine aggregate), and the use of additives (admixtures and additives) that change behavior. concrete during the execution of the work to improve the execution performance. This research will discuss the compressive strength of concrete by using superplasticizer as an addictive substance and brick waste as a mixture to replace some of the coarse aggregate. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the addition of superplasticizer and brick waste on the concrete mix. This research was conducted by collecting primary data obtained directly from the laboratory of PT. Nisajana Hasna Rizqy - Tegal Regency and secondary data obtained from books and journals. Variations in the addition of Superplasticizer by 0% and 2% by weight of water. While variations in the addition of brick waste are 50%, 80%, of the weight of the coarse aggregate. In this study, samples of concrete cubes measuring 15cm x 15cm x 15cm were made. Compressive strength tests were carried out at 7,14 and 28 days of age. From the results of the research discussion it was found that the optimum levels of superplasticizer and brick waste used for K quality concrete could not reach the quality planned in accordance with the concrete job mix.
