Abstract

This thesis is entitled "(The Effect of Using Tile Waste as a Partial Substitute for Coarse Aggregate on the Compressive Strength of Concrete K-175)" This thesis was written by AHMAD MUNTHOHA, NPM 6516500005.2023 Civil Engineering Study Program, Pancasakti University of Tegal, Concrete is a mixture of cement, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, and water, with no added admixtures forming a solid mass. In a general sense, concrete means a mixture of building materials in the form of sand and gravel or coral, which is then bound with cement mixed with water. With this the higher use of concrete makes the need for concrete production also increase. Not only that, with the high demand for concrete in the world of construction, the use of aggregate as a supporting material for concrete is also increasing. The purpose of writing tile waste innovation as coarse aggregate in concrete is to determine the quality of the concrete that will be produced with tile waste innovation as coarse aggregate. Research on tile waste as coarse aggregate in medium quality concrete on concrete compressive strength and compressive strength will be carried out in the laboratory of PT. Nisajana Hasna Rizqy - Tegal Regency as a place and means of supporting the research, methods of analyzing data from laboratory test results, laboratory tests carried out are as follows, weighing the material using a balance, filtering aggregate using stones specified by SNI, testing specific gravity and absorption, bulk density, as well as silt content in coarse and fine aggregates, testing of unit weight, volume of mixed production and air content of concrete with slump test, testing of compressive strength values with SNI cube specimens The different proportions of the mixture aim to find the proportion of the variant that is capable of producing the best compressive strength values. Several variants were made including variants of 50% pure material 50% waste material, using 20% pure variant and 80% waste for K quality concrete could not reach planned quality in accordance with the concrete job mix.
