Abstract

Mohammad Fahmi Idris, 2024 "Efforts to reduce the number of defective Tshirt screen printing products using the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method in the MSME Kolektif Project Brebes". Industrial Engineering Thesis Report, Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, Pancasakti University, Tegal, 2024. Kolektif Project is a Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (MSME) engagedin the distribution of t-shirts, training, jackets and so on located in Terlangu, District. Brebes, Brebes Regency, Central Java. The rapid development of the industrial sector quality control can increase the effectiveness of control in solving the occurrence of product defects. The Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method approach is very relevant for identifying the t-shirt screen printing production process to control the improvement of the quality of t-shirt screen printing products at the MSME Kolektif Project and to find out what factors cause product defects In this study using the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method which has tools to control quality, including check sheets, histograms, control charts, pareto diagrams, cause and effect models. The results of this study show that quality control in the MSME Kolektif Project is still not under control, with the discovery of the type of oblique screen printing defect has the highest percentage of 49%. From the results of field observations and interviews, it is known that the causes of product defects are human factors, machines, work methods, and raw materials.
