Abstract
ADAM NAJIB. 3216500001. The Effect of Probiotics on Natural Silkworm Feed (Tubifex sp) on the Growth of Kancra (Tor soro). (Advisor: Sri Mulatsih and NinikUmi Hartati) Kancra fish (Tor soro) is a freshwater fish that is very rare. This can be seen from a decrease in population numbers in the natural habitat of these fish. To anticipate the decline in the population of kancra fish. The research objective was to determine the growth rate of kancra (Tor soro) fish by giving probiotics to natural silk worms (Tubifex sp.) Feed and to determine the best dose by giving probiotics to natural silk worms' feed. The method used in this research is the experimental method with a completely randomized design (CRD). The sample used amounted to 120. The technique used is observation with data collection including growth, survival rates of fish, and morality. Based on the results of the research that has been obtained, the administration of different probiotic doses in natural feed gets the best results in treatment C (probiotic 5%). This shows that the provision of probiotics with different doses gives a difference where treatment C (probiotic 5%) which has an average growth of 0.150 grams is different from treatment A (probiotic 1%) which has an average growth of 0.087 grams and treatment B (probiotic). 3%) which has an average growth of 0.117 grams. Key words: Kancra fish (Tor soro), silk worms, probiotics
