Abstract
Agung Purwanto, 2023 "Design of an Internet Of Things-Based Duck Cage Security System". Industrial Engineering Thesis Report, Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, Pancasakti University, Tegal. Security technology is an environmental security system that provides protection to citizens from criminal disturbances. In its development, security technology raises the idea of integrating this technology into all industrial fields, in building a cage security system, there must be willingness and creative thinking in creating security devices so that there are no cases of burglary or theft and the cage remains safe when left and the owner of the cage doesn't feel worried. This study aims to design a duck cage security system for the Mangun Jaya livestock group to be used so that later breeders can obtain the required safety system products. The research method used in this study is the QFD method to analyze consumer voices about cage safety and consumer desires. The result of this research is the product of the internet of things based duck coop security system. For processing, the NodeMCU8266 microcontroller is used, while the output is a security product. The design of the cage security that was made was able to use an Android smartphone as a surveillance tool for cages that were connected using a wifi network, the presence of this security system is one of the new breakthroughs in an effort to provide an alternative to the use of cage security devices that make it easier for farmers to control the cage remotely.
