Abstract

ABSTRAK SUGIYARTO, SUKMA. 2024. Analisis Sistem Zonasi terhadap Prestasi Belajar Siswa pada Pembelajaran Ekonomi SMA Negeri 1 Pangkah Pembimbing I : Dr. Basukiyatno, M.Pd Pembimbing II : Dr. Beni Habibi, M.Pd Kata Kunci : Sistem zonasi, Pemerataan akses, Prestasi belajar Sistem zonasi merupakan salah satu upaya pemerintah dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan.dalam sistem zonasi pun telah distribusi siswa secara merata di sekolah-sekolah guna mengurangi ketimpangan antar sekolah, dan meningkatkan akses pendidikan. Sistem ini membagi wilayah ke dalam zona-zona, dengan mengutamakan penerimaan siswa dari zona setempat yang tujuanya guna pemerataan akses pendidikan sehingga masyarakat daerah setempat bisa memperoleh pendidikan yang terjamin tanpa adanya deskriminasi sosial. Meskipun bertujuan baik, penerapannya memunculkan beberapa tantangan, seperti perubahan dinamika sosial di sekolah dan kekhawatiran terkait kualitas pendidikan di zona tertentu sehingga memunculkan perbedaan terhadap kualitas siswa yang masuk dengan jalur zonasi dengan prestasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan mengumpulkan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara siswa jalur zonasi dan prestasi dilihat pada prestasi belajar siswa yang cenderung menurun secara signifikan baik dari aspek kognitif maupun afektif hal ini di sebabkan oleh rendahnya motivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran sehingga dari segi akademik dan sikap, tindak dan perilaku juga rendah.dengan adanya sistem zonasi memiliki dampak positif bagi pemerataan akses pendidikan sekitar SMA Negeri 1 Pangkah kemudian tingkat deskriminasi juga lebih rendah namun disisi lain dengan adanya kebijakan sistem zonasi sekolah juga sekolah memperoleh dampak negatif seperti penurunan tingkat mutu sekolah disebabkan oleh rendahnya prestasi yang di peroleh siswa. Rekomendasi bagi sekolah ialah agar dapat lebih dalam mengevaluasi tentang implementasi kebijakan sistem zonasi di sekolah karena hal tersebut berkaitan dengan pemerataan akses pendidikan yang mana dalam kebiajakan sistem tersebut lebih mengutamakan lingkup zona terdekat tanpa melihat prestasi ataupun nilai akademis yang mereka peroleh sehingga berdampak terhadap motivasi belajar siswa ABSTRACT SUGIYARTO, SUKMA. 2024. The zoning system has also distributed students evenly across schools to reduce inequality between schools and increase access to education. This system divides the region into zones, prioritizing the acceptance of students from the local zone, the aim of which is to equalize access to education so that local communities can obtain guaranteed education without social discrimination. Although well-intentioned, its implementation raises several challenges, such as changes in social dynamics in schools and concerns regarding the quality of education in certain zones, resulting in differences in the quality of students who enter through the zoning pathway with achievement. The research method used is qualitative research by collecting data through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study indicate that there is a difference between students on the zoning path and achievement seen in student learning achievement which tends to decrease significantly both in terms of cognitive and affective aspects, this is caused by low student motivation in learning so that in terms of academics and attitudes, actions and behavior are also low. with the zoning system has a positive impact on equalizing access to education around SMA Negeri 1 Pangkah then the level of discrimination is also lower but on the other hand with the school zoning system policy, schools also get negative impacts such as a decrease in the level of school quality due to low achievement obtained by students. The recommendation for schools is to be able to evaluate more deeply about the implementation of the zoning system policy in schools because it is related to equalizing access to education where in the policy the system prioritizes the scope of the nearest zone without looking at the achievements or academic grades they get so that it has an impact on student learning motivation.
