Abstract
ABSTRAK Tiara Rakhma Arif. 2024. “Dampak Korean Pop Terhadap Perubahan Perilaku Konsumtif Pada Penggemar Neo Culture Technology (NCT) (Studi Kasus pada Nctzen di Desa Saditan, Kecamatan Brebes, Kabupaten Brebes)”. Perkembangan K-Pop di Indonesia merebah ke seluruh penjuru negeri, salah satunya boyband K-Pop yang digemari di Desa Saditan Brebes yaitu NCT yang memiliki penggemar bernama NCTzen. Keloyalitasan NCTzen tidak hanya dengan menonton musik klip, mendengarkan lagu, namun perilakunya berubah dan cenderung ke arah perilaku konsumtif. Perilaku konsumtif menjadi permasalahan psikologis yang berbahaya ketika dilakukan secara berlebihan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui perubahan perilaku konsumtif, dan faktor penyebab perubahan perilaku konsumtif, serta dampak perubahan perilaku konsumtif pada penggemar Neo Culture Technology (NCT) di Desa Saditan, Kecamatan Brebes, Kabupaten Brebes. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Sumber data utama dalam penelitian kualitatif yaitu kata-kata dan tindakan, selebihnya adalah data tambahan seperti dokumen dan lain-lain. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dokumentasi, dan triangulasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) Perubahan perilaku konsumtif pada penggemar NCT di Desa Saditan, Kecamatan Brebes, Kabupaten Tegal tidak hanya membeli sebuah barang atau merchandise, tetapi juga mengikuti perkembangan idola melalui media internet, seperti: update berita baru idolanya, stalking akun idola, menonton reality show, music video, maupun melalui streaming. 2) Faktor penyebab perubahan perilaku konsumtif pada penggemar NCT di Desa Saditan, Kecamatan Brebes, Kabupaten Brebes karena dorongan keinginan dan untuk memuaskan hasrat yang disukai, informasi baik dari teman maupun media sosial. Adanya acara diskusi dan partisipasi tidak mempengaruhi perilaku konsumtif terhadap merchandise NCT. 3) Dampak perubahan perilaku konsumtif pada penggemar NCT di Desa Saditan, Kecamatan Brebes, Kabupaten Brebes pada umumnya yaitu pemborosan dan lupa waktu. Sisi positifnya, NCTzen lebih bisa kenal teman lebih banyak, lebih bersemangat, ceria dan berusaha mencari kerja freelance sehingga dapat mengatur keuangan dengan menabung dan berinvestasi. Keywords: Korean Pop, behavior change, consumerism and NCTzens. The development of K-Pop in Indonesia has spread to all corners of the country, one of which is the K-Pop boy band that is popular in Saditan Brebes Village, namely NCT which has fans called NCTzen. NCTzen's loyalty is not only through watching music clips, listening to songs, but their behavior changes and tends towards consumer behavior. Consumptive behavior becomes a dangerous psychological problem when done excessively. The aim of the research is to determine changes in consumptive behavior, and the factors that cause changes in consumptive behavior, as well as the impact handling changes in consumptive behavior among Neo Culture Technology (NCT) fans in Saditan Village, Brebes District, Brebes Regency. This research is a qualitative research. The main data sources in qualitative research are words and actions, the rest is additional data such as documents and so on. Data collection techniques use observation, documentation interviews, and triangulation. Data analysis uses qualitative descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed: 1) Changes in consumer behavior in NCT fans in Saditan Village, Brebes District, Tegal Regency are not only buying goods or merchandise, but also following the development of idols through internet media, such as: updating new news about their idols, stalking idol accounts, watching reality shows, music videos, or through streaming. 2) Factors causing changes in consumer behavior in NCT fans in Saditan Village, Brebes District, Brebes Regency are due to the urge to want and to satisfy their favorite desires, information from friends or social media. The existence of discussion events and participation does not affect consumer behavior towards NCT merchandise. 3) The impact of changes in consumer behavior in NCT fans in Saditan Village, Brebes District, Brebes Regency in general is wastefulness and forgetting time. On the positive side, NCTzen can get to know more friends, are more enthusiastic, cheerful and try to find freelance work so that they can manage their finances by saving and investing
